Our history

The history of the Melodika company is a story about how passion, knowledge and experience can be transformed into real actions. The roots of the brand date back to 2010, when the brand's founder, together with a team of professionals passionate about music and dealing with hi-fi equipment, came to the conclusion that he and other audiophiles were lacking solutions that not only ensure very good audio-video signal transmission quality, but also durability and functionality, while keeping a reasonable price. Was it biting off more than one can chew? A kind of mission impossible? If we thought so, Melodika would never have been created.

Start 2010

The beginning of the Melodika brand: the beginning of the design process and the first logo design.

2011

The first in-house Melodika cables from the Purple series in a characteristic purple color saw the light of day. The assumption was simple - to manufacture in Poland and give the customer as much as possible for the given price.

2012

Melodika releases the first version of MD2R analog interconnects. The design based on the first version of the MDC1110 was so successful that it quickly found a group of proponents.

2013

To our offer we introduce loudspeakers, and above all, the now iconic Melodika BL40 floor standing loudspeaker. This model will find many supporters among those looking for stereo and home theater speakers.

2014

Melodika makes its debut in the German market and its range is expanded to include affordable Black and White cables.

2015

Melodika presents its product portfolio at one of the world's most prestigious audio equipment fairs, the Hi-End Show in Munich.

Melodika product range was expanded with power cables from the Purple series and the brand new series of cables - Brown Sugar, which has particularly won the hearts of lovers of high quality sound. It is a solid, stable cable that provides high sound resolution and engaging dynamics, while slightly warming the sound without obscuring detail.

The renowned Polish magazine High Fidelity recognizes Melodika Brown Sugar speaker cables as the product of the year and awards them with the title of Best Product 2015. The verdict reads: "It might seem that only in the case of the most expensive products the manufacturer has to work really hard. In fact, the opposite is true, the hardest thing to do is to make a satisfying, good-looking product for beginners. So all the more respect is due to the creators of Melodica, because their Brown Sugar cable does everything right and doesn't spoil anything. And in this price range, that's like a title of nobility. 2016

In response to the demand expressed by some audiophiles who shy away from color, we are introducing the Gunmetal series to our offer, i.e. cables from Purple series but in a more conservative, gray color that easily blends into the background.

2017

Melodika introduces to its offer installation speakers: Back in Black Invisible. Over time, this series of products will grow to 14 models that work not only in the multiroom systems, but also in home cinema or stereo for people who value "invisibility".

2018

Melodika is moving forward, which is reflected in the new, refreshed and modernized logo.

Melodika presents its offer at fairs at home and abroad: (Audio Show in Warsaw, High End Munich).
The distribution network is extended to new countries: Lithuania, Spain, the Netherlands and Sweden.

2019

Freshly introduced, the new MD2RD cables immediately gain recognition and are awarded a prestigious award by a renowned French Magazine. This is the first gold Diapason that goes to the Melodika brand.

2020

The Brown Sugar series expands with new products. Poland's esteemed 'AudioVideo' magazine recognizes the Brown Sugar series of loudspeaker cables with the "Best Audio Cables 2020-2021" Award of the Year.

2021

Once again, the new product in the Melodika cable offer is immediately noticed and appreciated, also on the international market. For the second time, the Diapason d'or award goes to the Melodika brand, this time for the Melodika Brown Sugar BSSC 4550 speaker cable based on the BSC2450 cable.

2022

Melodika is going to the top.
After 7 years of research, testing and observation, Melodika releases the Hi-End Brown Sugar speaker cable series. This is the top model in this series with an impressive 9.5mm cross-section.

2023

This year brings further innovations in the top-tier Brown Sugar series, including new designs of BSC2500 speaker cables, as well as Bi-Amping and Bi-Wiring cables based on the BSC2225 conductor. Additionally, a new group of Purple series USB cables has been introduced, ranging from MDUAB and MDUAC to MDUCB.

We finish that year with the first XLR interconnect from the Brown Sugar Series - BS2X - which is an example of new quality in Melodika's offer, where the interconnect uses technologies previously employed only in Brown Sugar speaker cables, i.e. Spiral Litz or Multi-Gauge Core.

2024

In May 2024, during High End Munich 2024, we are presenting a new cable series called Sky Blue. This new series fills the gap between the popular Purple series and the high-end Brown Sugar series. The Sky Blue cables have been designed for a wide audience seeking to take a step into mature hi-fi.

2025

Melodika Celebrates 15 Years of Excellence

This year, Melodika marks its 15th anniversary—a milestone that reflects a decade and a half of consistent growth and innovation. Combining engineering expertise, market insight, and international ambition, the brand has built a strong reputation both in Poland and across global markets. Fifteen years of dedication have established Melodika as a trusted name in audio, known for quality, reliability, and a passion for great sound.
